Q. Do you use MSG?
A. No.
Q. Do you use fish or oyster sauce in the vegetarian menu?
A. No. Our vegetarian menu is suitable for ovo-lacto vegetarians. If you are
vegan or have other specific dietary requests, please let us know.
Q. Do we use peanut oil?
A. No. However Thai cooking makes frequent use of ground peanut. If you have
any special dietary requests, please let us know.
Q. Do you have a kids menu?
A. Although we do not have a specific kids menu we make every effort to accommodate
kid appetites.
Reservations
Q. Do you take reservations?
A. We do not take reservations during lunch (11am - 3pm). We do take reservations
for dinner (3pm - 10pm) for parties of 6 or more. For parties of 6 or more
we charge a 15% service charge. Note: Washington State Tax law requires sales
tax be applied to mandatory service charges.
Payment Questions
Q. What payment methods do you accept?
A. We take payment with cash, Visa, Mastercard or American Express. We do not
take personal checks.
Q. Do you have a corkage fee?
A. Yes. We have a corkage fee of $10.00.
Q. What is the price range of your menu?
A. Our most expensive dish is $14.95. Ticket prices for 2 with beer or wine
average $30.00.
Q. Do you have a service charge for large parties?
A. We place a 15% service charge on parties of 6 or more. Note: Washington
State Tax law requires sales tax be applied to mandatory service charges.

Q. Do you have gift certificates?
A. Yes. We have gift certificates which are redeemable at both locations. Gift
certificates are redeemable for food and beverages only. You can see the
certificates here.
Q. Do you offer catering?
A. No, but we are happy to prepare large orders for pick up.
Q. Do you hold cooking classes?
A. Because we are a family owned and operated restaurants we do
not have the capacity to offer classes at this time.
Q. We are celebrating a birthday. Can we bring our own birthday
cake?
A. Yes. Our staff will be happy to serve your cake.
Q. Do you have a full bar?
A. Both locations serve beer and wine only.
Q. Do you deliver?
A. We do not deliver.
Q. Do you have easy parking?
A. Both locations have ample free parking.
Q. Do you have a smoking section?
A. We are 100% no smoking.
Q. Do you have a private room / banquet area?
A. Pen Thai Restaurant in Bothell has a large private area. Please see locations for

Q. Do you have disabled access?
A. Both locations provide easy access for the disabled.

A. We are located in downtown Bellevue and downtown Bothell. See locations for

Community
The Chantanee Family believes in giving back to the community.
We frequently donate gift certificates to support fund raising auctions,
particularly from local schools. In addition the family actively
donates to schools in their home village in Northeastern Thailand.
Such items have included a computer lab and marching band equipment
and uniforms. Customers have greatly helped with these donations.
If you wish to receive gift certificates for your fund raising
auction please write to the restaurant nearest your organization
including a self addressed envelope.

As we receive far more requests than we can satisfy we have established
a fixed budget for fundraisers. Organizations we have funded in
the past will receive priority, as will local schools, especially
where the proceeds will improve education opportunities for low-income
children.
