Garlic Vegetables

Serves 1-2 Heat Scale: Very Mild. Add thai bird peppers to spice.


A very healthy stir-fry dish with strong garlic flavors. Usually served with Jasmine or Brown rice.

Ingredients:

6 tablespoons of soy sauce
3 tablespoons of Chantanee Foods Stir Fry sauce*
1 tablespoon sugar
6 cloves garlic
1 small bunch cilantro
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
3 tablespoons of canola oil
1 small bunch of broccoli (about a pound) cut into small pieces
1 (14 ounce) can baby corn, drained and halved lengthwise
8 ounces snow peas, trimmed
3 medium carrots, peeled and cut in thin matchsticks
2 small zucchini, cut in thin matchsticks
1 cup water

* Chantanee Foods Stir Fry Sauce available for purchase at both restaurants.

1 - Whisk together the soy sauce, Chantaee Foods Stir Fry Sauce and sugar in a small bowl and set aside.
2 - Place the garlic, cilantro and black pepper in a food processor and pulse until very finely minced.
3 - Heat a wok over medium heat and add the oil and blended garlic, cilantro and black pepper.
4 - Cook, stirring until the garlic turns golden brown.
5 - Add the broccoli, corn, snow peas, carrots and zucchini, and stir-fry until the vegetables are crisp and tender.
6 - Add the soy sauce mixture and water, simmer briefly, and serve immediately.
